Course Overview

The Problem Solving Skills Programme aims to empower learners with knowledge and skills to gather facts using different techniques and/or sources in relation to a specific problem in order to evaluate alternatives and their likely future implications, make appropriate decisions and implement the most suitable long-lasting corrective action/solutions instead of avoiding problems with the hope they will resolve themselves, which may be detrimental to an organisation and/or any relationship.

Primary Purpose Of The Course

This Unit Standard is intended for junior managers of organisations. The Unit Standard specifies the knowledge and skills required to solve problems and make decisions.

Who Should Attend

This programme is intended for all people who hold specific areas of responsibility within the workplace. It is specifically recommended for, but not limited to:

Junior managers / supervisors;
Team leaders, foremen;
Managers / Section Heads, etc.
